He who believes in Him will not be disappointed. 1 Peter 2:6
Are you able to say, “Not my will, but Yours be done” today you cast yourself wholeheartedly unto God’s loving care, knowing that what He wants and has for you is better than what you could ever seek or find for yourself? It’s a difficult lesson, to be sure. And yet it is what the Father is always striving to teach you-complete and unhindered dependence on Him and confidence in His love. Wisdom, and power.
That is why you are facing what you are today. Once more, God is presenting you with a choice of faith: Will you trust Him or will you seek your own way? Will you accept that He sends as an instrument of discipleship to train you? Will you say, no matter what happens, “Lord, instruct me; I trust You even in this”?
I hope you will. There is absolutely nothing better you can do than abandon yourself to His will, provision, and protection. That is the path through adversity to abundant, fulfilling, joyous life.
Lord I know You will never lead me astray but will help me exceedingly, abundantly, above all I ask or imagine. Thank You for leading me so faithfully, amen.
