Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, . . . yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my strength, . . . he enables me to tread on the heights. HABAKKUK 3: 17– 19 NIV
Nothing can shake your faith as when your situation takes an unexpected turn for the worst. Suddenly, the foundation of what you trust is shattered. As you grasp for earthly forms of security and relief, they crumble. The pressure compounds.
God has not allowed these circumstances to destroy your faith but to build it. However, at this moment you must decide to believe that the Father is worthy of your trust. He desires the best for you. It may not seem so at the moment as you face incredible pressures, but He does.
Therefore, refuse to doubt. Like David confronting Goliath or Moses standing before the Red Sea, refuse to accept defeat. Know that God is waiting to reveal His mighty provision to you. And rejoice in the fact that He will never fail you.
Lord, I will not doubt You. You are leading me to victory and I am so grateful for Your love, amen.
In His presence… Believe He will sustain you.
