He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 2 CORINTHIANS 9:6
You will have many choices today. But as you make decisions, please remember that you’ll reap what you sow: you will harvest that which you’ve planted in the past, and the choices you make today will influence what you reap in the future.
With this principle in mind, consider: What would you like to accomplish with your life? Are you seeking to fulfill the purpose for which God created you? If so, then what type of seeds are you planting? Are you sowing behaviors that will deepen your relationship with the Father such as prayer, Bible study, and fellowship with other believers? Are you being generous with the gifts and talents He’s given you? Are you sowing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in your relationships with others?
Be conscious of the choices you make every day each one is a seed that you are planting for your future. Invest bountifully in honoring and obeying God and you will surely be glad when harvest time comes.
Lord, help me invest my life bountifully in ways that honor You. To You be all the honor and glory, amen.
In His presence …sow that which honors Him.
