Be Available

“He who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do.” JOHN 14:12 

When you feel useless, remember, God has an important purpose for your life. Of course, you may be tempted to focus on the reasons the Lord would overlook you— such as failings and feelings of inadequacy. But this simply shows you’re looking in the wrong direction—at yourself rather than the Lord (2 Corinthians 4: 7).

Friend, you have the Spirit of the living God actively working through you. You’re a living testimony of His amazing power, wisdom, and salvation— whether you feel it or not. And the truth is, everyone you meet needs the love and hope Jesus offers. You can be a blessing just by listening and reminding them of the Savior’s perfect grace and provision.

So the question isn’t, Can God use you? It’s, Will you allow Him to care for others through you? Will you show people the awesome, unconditional, sacrificial love of Jesus? Your part is simple— just be available for Him to do His great works through you. He will certainly do the rest.

Lord, use me to draw others to You. Help me proclaim Your salvation and inspire others to love You more, amen.
