HE FILLS THE GAPS

“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
2 CORINTHIANS 12: 9 NLT

When you struggle with a heavy load of any kind, isn’t it wonderful when someone offers to help, or insists that you rest as they take care of things for a while? This is what happens with your life when you accept Christ and remain in relationship with Him. He says that as you grow in Him, He will work out His perfection in you. You don’t have to struggle, strive, or wear yourself out. He will work in you— in His timing, using His methods, and all for His purposes.

Friend, be encouraged. Nobody can be the best always. Nobody gets it right every time. But it’s in your times of weakness and failure that you have the capacity to grow the most.

When you have fallen short, you are in the perfect position to trust God to cover your failings. Therefore, take heart and rely on Him to help you succeed.

Heavenly Father, help me view my times of weakness as opportunities to grow in You, amen.
