MADE PURPOSEFULLY

He made from one man every nation of mankind . . . having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God; . . . in Him we live and move and exist. ACTS 17:26–28

Have you ever wished to be more like someone else? Do you see their beauty, success, skill, or intelligence and envy what the Lord gave them? Or do you embrace who He made you to be and see your looks, gifts, culture, language, and everything about you as His purposeful choices?

Friend, you are special. God gave you certain characteristics, personality traits, talents, and aptitudes for a reason—for you to fulfill a unique role in history. And when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, He gave you certain spiritual gifts to use in ministry, for His glory (Ephesians 2:10).

Therefore, today, embrace who your Creator says you are—His beloved child who is “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). No one who has ever lived before, is alive now, or will be in the future has been just like you. So enjoy who God made you to be!

Father, help me embrace and accept myself just the way You made me, amen.

In His presence . . . discover who God created you to be.
