“You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” JOHN 8:32
The enemy will try to convince you that you’re not good enough—that you’re unloved, inadequate, and unworthy. He knows if he can discourage you, he can prevent you from experiencing the power and freedom the Father created you to enjoy. Do not listen to the accuser.
Instead, allow this truth to set you free: you are a child of the living God—purposefully fashioned by the Father, bought with the precious blood of Jesus, and indwelt with the omnipotent and omniscient Holy Spirit. And because you belong to Him, you’re unconditionally loved, abundantly more than capable, and immeasurably valuable.
This is the absolute truth about you—enumerated repeatedly throughout Scripture. And whenever you doubt it, you know the enemy has convinced you of his lies.
Friend, embrace who God says you are. His is the only opinion that really matters because He is the One who created you, saves you, and works through you. You are precious in His sight, so trust His view of you and His awesome plans for your life.
Father, I know I need to believe who You say I am. Expose the enemy’s lies and teach me Your wonderful truth, amen.
In His presence . . . discover who you really are.
