ԿԵՆԴԱՆԻ ՀՈՒՅՍ

«Օրհնյա՜լ է Աստված և մեր Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսի Հայրը, որ Իր առատ ողորմության համեմատ մեզ վերստին ծնեց դեպի կենդանի հույսը՝ Հիսուս Քրիստոսի մեռելներից հարություն առնելով» (Ա Պետրոս 1.3)։ 

Քրիստոսը մահացավ մեր մեղքերի համար, Նա թաղվեց, բայց երրորդ օրը հարություն առավ՝ մեզ արդարացնելու համար։ Այժմ Նա նստած է Աստծո աջ կողմում, որտեղ Նա հավիտյան ապրում է, որպեսզի բարեխոսի մեզ համար, և որտեղից Նա վերադառնալու է՝ մեզ Իր մոտ ընդունելու համար, որպեսզի որտեղ Ինքն է, այնտեղ էլ մենք լինենք։ 

Ահա թե ինչն է այս աշխարհում քրիստոնեությունը տարբերում ցանկացած այլ կրոնից։ Յուրաքանչյուր կրոն պարզապես մահացած գործերի, բարոյական խրատների և փիլիսոփայության համակարգ է՝ առաջադրված որևէ ուսուցչի կողմից, որն այժմ մահացած է։ Քրիստոնեությունը կենսառատ հարաբերություն է կենդանի Անձնավորության՝ մեր Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսի հետ, որն այժմ նստած է Աստծո գահին։ Մենք կենդանի հույս ունենք, քանի որ խաչի վրա Տեր Հիսուսը զոհեց Իր կյանքը մեզ համար և, մեր փրկագնման աշխատանքը կատարելուց հետո, հարություն առավ և այլևս չի մահանալու։ Ովքեր հավատում են Նրան, հավիտենական կապով միավորված են մեր Կենդանի Գլխին։ «Որովհետև Ես կենդանի եմ,- ասում է Նա,- դուք կենդանի կլինեք» (Հովհաննես 14.19)։ Այն, որ Տեր Հիսուսը կենդանի է և Աստծո գահի վրա է, ապացույց է, որ մեր մեղքերը, որոնք դրվեցին Նրա վրա, ընդմիշտ հեռացված են, և այն կյանքը, որը մենք ունենք Նրանում, հավիտենական է։

Living Hope

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which ac- cording to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Peter 1:3).

Christ died for our sins, He was buried, but He arose again the third day for our justification. He now sits at the right hand of God, where He ever liveth to make intercession for us, and from where He shall come to receive us unto Himself, that where He is, there we may be also.

This is what differentiates Christi- anity from every religion in the world. Every other religion is just a system of dead works, or of moral teachings and philosophies, propounded by a teacher who is now dead. Christian- ity is a vital relationship with a living Person, our Lord Jesus Christ, on the throne of God. We have a living hope because the Lord Jesus laid down His life for us on the cross, and after completing the work of our redemp- tion, took it up again, now no more to die. All who believe on Him are united to our Living Head, in everlast- ing relationship. “Because I live,” He says, “ye shall live also” (John 14:19). The living Lord Jesus, on the throne of God, is the evidence that our sins, which were laid on Him, are forever put away and that the life we have in Him is everlasting.
