Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14
Are you critical of yourself, constantly evaluating how you fall short? Do you see the blessings others receive and believe you’re just not good enough to have them too? You do unimaginable damage to yourself with such negativity, talking yourself into a spirit of defeat that God never intended for you to endure.
“You don’t understand,” you may say, “I’ve been rejected. I’ve failed. I feel worthless.” Perhaps you’ve done wrong or have been hurt by others. But the fact remains, how you perceive yourself isn’t how God sees you, He’s made you into a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Friend, Jesus loves you so much, He died for you. His indwelling spirit provides everything necessary for you to be triumphant. And Christ gave you the great honor of commissioning you to be His representative to the perishing. Stop putting yourself down. Instead, search His Word and discover how deeply gifted, cherished, and blessed you truly are.
Lord, thank You for loving me. Help me see myself as You do, amen.
In His presence …find your true worth and significance.
