If we are faithless, He remains faithful for He cannot deny Himself.

Allow this truth to set you free: you don’t have to be perfect to experience the Father’s love and provision.

Do you constantly worry about how your next mistake might make God react toward you? Friend, this is an exhausting way to live. While it’s essential you honor Him through obedience, He doesn’t love you any less when you mess up.

What grieves the Father about sin is that it separates you from Him. You feel the shame of falling short of His holy standard and hide from Him as a consequence.

But what God wants is deep, uninterrupted, abiding fellowship with you, which is why He provided so perfectly for you on the cross. Now He readily invites you no matter what you’ve done–to confess your sins to Him. Because when you do, you’re promised He will forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Why is He so ready to pardon when you fail? Because of His unconditional love for you. He wants you back. He wants you close. Don’t allow your imperfections to keep you separated from Him.

Lord, I’m so grateful for Your love and acceptance. I confess my sins. Thank You for forgiving me, amen.
