LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

We have received . . . the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God. 1 CORINTHIANS 2: 12

Did you know that, as a believer, the Holy Spirit dwells within you? And that the Spirit, who knows the mind of God, communicates to you every truth He wants you to hear? The moment you receive Christ as your Savior, the Holy Spirit begins teaching you the truth of who He is.

Paul clearly stated this in 1 Corinthians 2: 12, “We have received . . . the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God”( NKJV). The Greek word for “know” is oido, which means “fullness of knowledge.”

Given over to a self-life, unbelievers are absolutely incapable of understanding the things of God and therefore will not understand why they do some of the things they do. But you have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2: 16), and He offers you all the insight you need. So commit to listening for the Spirit’s direction— and be confident He will reveal it to you.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit guiding me and filling me with Your knowledge, amen.
