THE IMPORTANCE OF FELLOWSHIP

Not forsaking our own assembling together as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day drawing near. HEBREWS10:25

Have you ever questioned the necessity of being in fellowship with other believers? Perhaps someone in church hurt you or you didn’t feel as though you fit in. Whatever the reason, you are missing out on genuine friendship, worship, support, opportunities for service, encouragement, instruction in your faith, and the love the Lord wants to show you through other believers.

Friend, no one can “go it alone” spiritually–and that’s by design. God gathers His people into a community of faith and fellowship so that we can minister to each other and find the strength and courage we need for our daily burdens (Galatians 6:2).

So if you don’t have a church to call home, ask the Father to lead you to a place He knows you’ll thrive. Join a small group or Bible study. The important thing to remember is—don’t try to go it alone.

Lord, I want to serve You and honor You in all I do—and I know that means loving and serving other believers. Help me be obedient to wherever Your Spirit leads me, amen.

In His presence… find a place to serve and fellowship.
