For Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me. PSALM 31:3
Did you know that the Lord has your best interests at heart every second of your life? There is never a moment when He stops caring about you or doesn’t work to provide His very finest for you. In Psalm 16: 11, He guarantees to show you the path of life as you follow Him. Then in Psalm 32: 8, God promises to instruct you in the way you should go, and to guide you with His eye upon you.
While we can only see the present, the Lord sees the beginning, middle, and end. Why, then, would we not ask Him to lead us—not only in major decisions, but also in our daily choices?
So consider, do you prayerfully submit your choices to the Father and rejoice in the fact that He has given you His Holy Spirit as a Navigator in your search for direction? If so, instead of telling Him what you wish to do, make it a practice to ask Him first instead. And trust Him to lead you to blessings that are better than you could have imagined.
God, thank You for guiding my decisions, no matter how big or small, amen.
In His presence . . . turn to Him for all decisions.
