STATEMENT OF FAITH 

THE SCRIPTURES INSPIRED
The scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired by God and take the revelation of God to man, and the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
(1 Tim. 3:15-17, 1 Thess. 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21)

THE ONE TRUE GOD
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent ” I AM” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind; He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Deut. 6:4, Is. 43:10-11, Matt. 28:19, Luke 3:22)

THE DEITY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
The scriptures declare:

• His virgin birth (Matt. 1:23, Luke 1:31 ,35)
• His sinless life (Heb. 7:26, 1 Peter 2:22)
• His miracles (Acts 2:22, 10:38)
• His substitutionary work of the cross (1 Cor. 15:3,2 Cor. 5:21 )
• His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matt. 28:6, Luke 24:39, 1 Cor. 15:4)
• His exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9, 11 , 2:33, Phil. 2:9-11 , Heb. 1:3)

THE FALL OF MAN
Man was created good and upright; then God said, ” Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness.” However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.
(Gen. 1:26-27, 2:17 , 3:6, Rom. 5:12-19)

THE SALVATION OF MAN
Man’ s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

• Conditions of Salvation: Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life.
  (Luke 24:47, John 3 3, Rom. 10:13-15, Eph. 2:8, Titus 2:11, 3: 5-7)
• The Evidence of Salvation: The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.
  (Eph. 4:24, Titus 2:12)

THE ORDINANCE OF THE CHURCH

• Baptism in Water: The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the Scriptures. All who repent and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus they declare to the world that they also have been raised with Him to walk in the newness of life. (Matt. 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 10:47-48, Rom. 6:4)
• Holy Communion: The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4) and a memorial of His suffering and death (1 Cor. 11:26) and is enjoined to all believers ” till He comes!”

THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all until the early Christian church. With it comes the endowment for power and life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4, 8, 1 Cor. 12:1-31). This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. 
(Acts 8:12-17, 10:44-46, 11:5, 16, 15:7-9). 

With the baptism in the Holy Spirit come such experiences as an overflowing fullness of the Spirit (John 7:37-39, Acts 4:8), a deepened reverence for God (Acts 2:43, Heb. 12:28), and intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work (Acts 2:42), and a more active love for Christ, for His word and the lost (Mark 16:20). 

THE EVIDENCE OF THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT 
The baptism of believers in the Holy Ghost is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives them utterance (Acts 2:4). The speaking in tongues in this instance is the same in essence as the gift of tongues (1 Cor. 12:4-10, 28), but different in purpose and use. 

SANCTIFICATION 
Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God (Rom. 12:1-2, 1 Thess. 5:22, Heb. 13:12). The Scriptures teach a life of “holiness without which no man shall see the Lord” (Heb. 12:14). By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command; “Be ye holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:15-16). Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by faith reckoning daily upon the fact of that union, and by offering every faculty continually to the dominion of the Holy Spirit.
(Rom. 6:1-13, 8:1-2, 8:13, Gal. 2:20, Phil. 2:12-13, 1 Peter 1:5) 

THE CHURCH 
The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven.
(Eph. 1:22-23, 2:22, Heb. 12:23)

THE MINISTRY 
A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for a two-fold purpose:

• The evangelization of the world.
• The edifying of the body of Christ. (Mark 16:15-20, Eph. 4:11-13) 

THE DIVINE HEALING
Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers. (Is. 53:4-5, Matt. 8:16-17, James 5:14-16) 

THE BLESSED HOPE 
The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church. (1 Thess. 4:16-17, Rom. 8:23, Titus 2:13, 1 Cor. 15:51-52) 

THE MILLENNIAL REIGN OF CHRIST 
The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years (Zech. 14:5, Matt. 24:27, 30, Rev. 1:7, 19:11-14, 20:1-6). This millennial reign will bring the salvation of National Israel (Ezek. 37:21- 22, Zeph. 3:19-20, Rom. 11:26-27) and the establishment of universal peace.
(Is. 11:6-9, Ps. 72:3-8, Micah 4:3-4)

THE FINAL JUDGEMENT 
There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found in the Book of Life together with the Devil and his angels, the beast, and the false prophet will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
(Matt. 25:46, Mark 9:43, Rev. 19:20, 20:11-15, 21:8) 

THE NEW HEAVEN AND THE NEW EARTH 
“We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
(2 Peter 3:13, Rev. 21, 22) 

As mentioned before, this list includes major and non-major tenets of faith. ALL are important to our faith, and affect life on earth, and thus, our eternity in heaven. The Assemblies of God also have Position Papers concerning the church’s stance on church & social issues (i.e. Women in Ministry, Homosexuality, Abortion) and can be read at www.ag.org under “Beliefs”. 

ՄԵՐ ՀԱՎԱՏՔԻ ԴՐՈՒՅԹՆԵՐԸ

ՍՈՒՐԲ ԳԻՐՔԸ ՆԵՐՇՆՉՎԱԾ Է
Սուրբ գիրքը՝ թե՛ Հին, թե՛ Նոր կտակա­ րանները, բանավոր ներշնչված է Աստ­ ծուց, Աստծո հայտնությունն է մարդուն, ինչպես նաև հավատքի և վարքի անսխա­ լական, հեղինակավոր կանոնը (Ա Տիմ. 3.15­17, Ա Թես. 2.13, Բ Պետր. 1.21):

ՄԵԿ ՃՇՄԱՐԻՏ ԱՍՏՎԱԾ
Մեկ ճշմարիտ Աստված հայտնել է Իրեն որպես հավիտյան ինքնագո «ԵՍ ԵՄ»՝ երկնքի և երկրի Արարիչ և մարդկութ­ յան Փրկիչ. Նա հետագայում հայտնեց Իրեն որպես փոխհարաբերությունների և միության սկզբունքները մարմ­նավորող Հայր, Որդի և Սուրբ Հոգի (Երկր. օր. 6.4, Ես. 43.10, 11, Մատթ. 28.19, Ղուկ. 3.22):

ՏԵՐ ՀԻՍՈՒՍ ՔՐԻՍՏՈՍԻ ԱՍՏՎԱԾՈՒԹՅՈՒՆԸ
Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսը Աստծո Որդին է: Աստվածաշունչը հռչակում է.

ՄԱՐԴՈՒ ՄԵՂԱՆՉԵԼԸ
Մարդը ստեղծվեց բարի և արդար, և Աստված ասաց. «Մեր պատկերով և մեր նմանությամբ մարդ շինենք»: Սակայն մարդը կամովին մեղք գործեց և մահա­ ցավ ոչ միայն ֆիզիկապես, այլև հոգևո­ րապես, ինչը բաժանում է Աստծուց (Ծննդ. 1.26, 27, 2.17, 3.6, Հռոմ. 5.12­-19):

ՄԱՐԴՈՒ ՓՐԿՈՒԹՅՈՒՆԸ
Մարդու փրկագնումը միայն Հիսուս Քրիս­ տոսի՝ Աստծո Որդու թափած արյան միջո­ ցով է:

• Փրկության պայմանները. փրկություն ստանում են Աստծո առջև ապաշխարելով և Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսին հավատալով: Վերստին ծննդյան ավազանով և Սուրբ Հոգու նորոգությամբ, արդարանալով շնորհքով՝ հավատքի միջոցով՝ մարդը դառնում է Աստծո ժառանգ՝ համաձայն հավիտենական կյանքի հույսի (Ղուկ. 24.47, Հովհ. 3.3, Հռոմ. 10.13­15, Եփես. 2.8, Տիտ. 2.11, 3.5­7):
• Փրկության ապացույցը. փրկության ներ­ քին ապացույցը Հոգու անմիջական վկա­ յությունն է (Հռոմ. 8.16): Արտաքին ապա­ ցույցը բոլոր մարդկանց առջև արդա­րության և ճշմարիտ սրբության

ԵԿԵՂԵՑՈՒ ԽՈՐՀՈՒՐԴԸ

• Ջրի մկրտություն. ընկղմմամբ մկրտության խորհուրդը պատվիրված է Սուրբ Գրքում: Բոլոր նրանք, ովքեր ապաշխարում են և հավատում Քրիստոսին՝ որպես Փրկչի և Տիրոջ, պետք է մկրտվեն: Այդպես նրանք աշխարհին հռչակում են, որ իրենք նույն­ պես հարություն են առել Նրա հետ, որպես­ զի նոր կյանքով ընթանան (Մատթ. 28.19, Մարկ. 16.16, Գործք 10.47,48, Հռոմ. 6.4):
• Սուրբ հաղորդություն. Տերունական ընթ­ րիքը՝ բաղկացած հացից և որթատունկի պտղից, մեր Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսի աստ­ վածային բնությանը հաղորդակից լինե­ լու խորհրդապատկերն է (Բ Պետր. 1.4) և Նրա չարչարանքի ու մահվան հիշատակը (Ա Կորնթ. 11.26) և պատվիրված է բոլոր հավատացյալներին «մինչև Նրա գալը»:

ՄԿՐՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ ՍՈՒՐԲ ՀՈԳՈՎ
Բոլոր հավատացյալներն իրավունք ունեն ստանալու և ջերմեռանդորեն պետք է ակնկալեն ու թախանձագին փնտրեն Հոր խոստումը՝ Սուրբ Հոգով և կրակով մկրտությունը՝ համաձայն մեր Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսի պատվիրանի: Սա բնական փորձառություն էր քրիստոնյաների համար նախքան վաղ քրիստոնեական եկեղեցու ձևավորումը: Այդ փորձառությամբ տրվում է շնորհք զորության, կյանքի և ծառայության համար, ինչպես նաև պարգևներ և դրանք գործածելու կարողություն ծառայության մեջ (Ղուկ. 24.49, Գործք 1.4, 8, Ա Կորնթ. 12.1­31): Սա տարբերվում է վերստին ծննդի փորձառությունից և հաջորդում է դրան (Գործք 8.12­17, 10.44­46, 11.5, 16, 15.7­9): Սուրբ Հոգու մկրտությանն ուղեկցում են այնպիսի փորձառություններ, ինչպիսիք են Հոգով լցվելը (Հովհ. 7.37­39, Գործք 4.8), Աստծո հանդեպ խոր երկյուղածությունը (Գործք 2.43, Եբր. 12.28), խոր նվիրաբե­ րում­ն Աստծուն և նվիրումը Նրա գործին (Գործք 2.42) և առավել ջերմեռանդ սերը Քրիստոսի, Նրա Խոսքի և կորչողների նկատմամբ (Մարկ. 16.20):

ՍՈՒՐԲ ՀՈԳՈՎ ՄԿՐՏՈՒԹՅԱՆ ԱՊԱՑՈՒՅՑԸ
Հավատացյալների մկրտությունը Սուրբ Հոգով հաստատվում է այլ լեզուներով խո­ սելու առաջնային ֆիզիկական նշանով, ինչպես Հոգին նրանց խոսել է տալիս (Գործք 2.4): Այս դեպքում լեզուներով խո­ սելը, ըստ էության, նույնն է, ինչ լեզունե­ րի պարգևը (Ա Կորնթ. 12.4­10, 28), բայց տարբեր է նպատակով և գործածությամբ:

ՍՐԲԱՑՈՒՄ
Սրբացումը առանձնացում­ն է այն ամենից, ինչը չար է, և նվիրում­ն է Աստծուն (Հռոմ. 12.1,2, Ա Թես. 5.22, Եբր. 13.12): Սուրբ Գիր­քը սովորեցնում է սրբության կյանքի մա­սին, «առանց որի ոչ ոք չի տեսնի Տիրոջը» (Եբր. 12.14): Սուրբ Հոգու զորությամբ մենք ունակ ենք հնազանդվելու այս պատվիրա­ նին. «Սո՛ւրբ եղեք, որովհետև Ես սուրբ եմ» (Ա Պետր. 1.15,16): Սրբացումը կատարվում է հավատացյալի մեջ, երբ նա ընդունում է իր նույնացումը Քրիստոսի հետ Նրա մահ­ վամբ և հարությամբ և հավատքով ամեն օր հաստատում է այդ միության իրողութ­ յունը և իր բոլոր անդամ­ները մշտապես հանձնում Սուրբ Հոգու իշխանությանը (Հռոմ. 6.1­13, 8.1,2, 8.13, Գաղ. 2.20, Փիլիպ. 2.12,13, Ա Պետր. 1.5):

ԵԿԵՂԵՑԻՆ
Եկեղեցին Քրիստոսի մարմինն է՝ Աստծո բնակարանը Հոգով , և ունի աստվածային նշանակում­ներ իր մեծ հանձնարարակա­ նի իրականացման համար: Յուրաքանչյուր հավատացյալ՝ ծնված Հոգուց, երկնքում գրված անդրանիկների ընդհանուր ժողո­ վի և եկեղեցու անբաժանելի մասն է (Եփես. 1.22,23, 2.22, Եբր. 12.23):

ԾԱՌԱՅՈՒԹՅՈՒՆԸ
Մեր Տիրոջից սահմանված է Աստծուց կանչված և Սուրբ Գրքով հաստատված ծառայություն՝ երկակի նպատակով .

• Աշխարհի ավետարանչություն:
• Քրիստոսի մարմ­նի շինություն (Մարկ. 16.15­20, Եփես. 4.11­13):

ԱՍՏՎԱԾԱՅԻՆ ԲԺՇԿՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ
Աստվածային բժշկությունը ավետարանի ան­բաժանելի մասն է: Հիվանդությունից ազա­ տումը ապահովվում է քավությամբ և բոլոր հավատացյալների արտոնությունն է (Ես. 53.4,5, Մատթ. 8.16,17, Հակոբ. 5.14­16):

ԵՐԱՆԵԼԻ ՀՈՒՅՍ
Քրիստոսում ննջածների հարությունը և փո­ խադրումը ողջ մ­նացածների հետ Տիրոջ գալուստին ընդառաջ Եկեղեցու մոտալուտ և երանելի հույսն է (Ա Թես. 4.16,17, Հռոմ. 8.23, Տիտ. 2.13, Ա Կորնթ. 15.51, 52):

ՔՐԻՍՏՈՍԻ ՀԱԶԱՐԱՄՅԱ ԹԱԳԱՎՈՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆԸ
Քրիստոսի երկրորդ գալուստը ներառում է սուրբերի հափշտակությունը, որը մեր երանե­ լի հույսն է, որին հաջորդում է Քրիստոսի տե­ սանելի վերադարձը Իր սուրբերի հետ՝ երկրի վրա հազար տարի թագավորելու նպատա­ կով (Զաք. 14.5, Մատթ. 24.27, 30, Հայտն. 1.7, 19.11­14, 20.1­6): Այս հազարամյա թա­ գավորությունը կբերի փրկություն ազգին (Եզեկ. 37.21,22, Սոփ. 3.19,20, Հռոմ. 11.26,27) և ամբողջ աշխարհում կհաստատի խաղա­ ղություն (Ես. 11.6­9, Սաղմ. 72.3­8, Միք. 4.3,4):

ՎԵՐՋԻՆ ԴԱՏԱՍՏԱՆ
Կլինի վերջին դատաստան, որի ժամա­նակ մահացած ամբարիշտները հարութ­ յուն կառնեն և կդատվեն իրենց գործերի համաձայն: Նա, ում անունը չի գտնվի Կյանքի Գրքում, սատանայի և նրա հրեշ­ տակների, գազանի և սուտ մարգարեի հետ կդատապարտվի հավիտենական պատժի կրակով ու ծծումբով բորբոքված լճում, որը երկրորդ մահն է (Մատթ. 25.46, Մարկ. 9.43, Հայտն. 19.20, 20.11­15, 21.8):

ՆՈՐ ԵՐԿԻՆՔ ԵՎ ՆՈՐ ԵՐԿԻՐ
«Մենք, Նրա խոստմունքի պես, նոր երկնքի և նոր երկրի ենք սպասում, որոնցում ար­ դարություն է բնակվում» (Բ Պետր. 3.13, Հայտն. 21, 22):

Ինչպես ավելի վաղ նշվեց, այս ցանկը ներառում է հավատքի հիմ­նական և ոչ հիմ­նական դրույթները: ԲՈԼՈՐՆ էլ կարևոր են մեր հավատքի համար և ազդում են երկրային կյանքի վրա, հետևաբար՝ մեր հավիտենության վրա երկնքում: «Assemblies of God» ն ունի նաև եկե ղեցական և սոցիալական հարցերում եկեղեցու դիրքորոշման վերաբերյալ փաստաթղթեր (օրինակ՝ կանայք ծառայության մեջ, միասեռականություն, հղիության արհեստական ընդհատում) և հասանելի են www.ag.org կայքում ՝ «Beliefs»-բաժնում:
