When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—the moon and the stars you set in place—what are . . . human beings that you should care for them?
PSALM 8:3–4 NLT
Today, spend time thinking about the Lord God—the unlimited, creative, compassionate Sovereign of all that exists, who has called you into relationship with Him. Consider how He formed the universe—brilliantly conceiving the paths of stars, solar systems, and galaxies, and lovingly naming each one.
He is able to do anything—there is absolutely nothing impossible with Him. At His command, the earth became the perfect home for you (Genesis 1), the Red Sea parted (Exodus 14), and the sun and moon stood still in the sky (Joshua 10:13). And by His loving sacrifice, your enemies of sin and death were defeated forevermore (1 Corinthians 15:54–57).
Of course, the best news of all is He loves you .
Be aware of His presence, friend. Look to Him for everything you face today. Because with Him as your Protector, Provider, and Lord, there is nothing you should fear.
Lord God, truly You are great and greatly to be praised! Nothing is impossible for You. Thank You for holding my life in Your omnipotent hand, amen.
In His presence . . . be in awe of your Creator.
